I am new here.

I have six 18V DC775 brushed motors taken from cordless drill, I would like run for a battle bot 4 for wheels and 2 for rotational disks.

In terms of connection and set up I would like to ask which ESC, Speed Controller, is suitable for the application where . should I connect motors in parallel or series. should I connect two motors per ESC and one more thing please , what suitable battery that would give me 5 minutes minimum time.

your guidance will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

No brushed ESC HobbyKing stocks will be suitable for 18Volts. 12V maximum.

As for motor connection, that depends on what you are using the motors for, eg. differential steering or suchlike.

    Thanks Wtwuk,

I'll be using differential steering with two wheels on each side. My plan is to connect on ESC on each side so, One ESC connected to 2 motors on right side and another ESC connected to 2 motors on the left side.

You're help is so much appreciated.

Connecting two motors to one ESC?

    Yes. Wire them in parallel.
