Turnigy UP610 low input voltage 11.7V vs 12.3V

Bought the UP610 charger last weekend during Hobbyking Live in The Netherlands. Tried it yesterday but i got the same message as Mart from one of the reviews. ' Input voltage too low'. It is reporting 11.7 volt whereas my professional multimeter reports 12.3 volts. I can change the minimum input voltage setting to suppress the warning message but there seems something wrong with this charger. As I bought it live from the Hobbyking booth last weekend I didn't get a receipt or have a registered order on hk.com.
Is this device malfunctioning or should firmware resolve this?
