I am not having much joy with Li Po batteries!

I use a ISDT D2 battery analyser and try to keep them in storage mode!! But still they puff up on me!!!

    Are there reliable brands?
    If so tell me please!!!!
My batteries various brands at low end of price range. Some just puff and I got rid of them knowing they yare a fire hazard. I think various brands over the years sorry but very poor life. Really disappointed albeit They have mostly not been used.

I found that the NanoTec LiPo's I have had over the years are always the first to go puffy, no matter how well they are looked after and some within weeks. Turnigy blue packs seem to go on forever though - I have some that are 7yrs old now that still perform well. Zippys are also pretty good.

I think, apart from the zippys, low end packs are just that - low end, and with that comes reduced lives.

Just out of interest, what is the temperature like where you store them?

Room temperature. I think I am more of a dreamer than an RC pilot so they do not get much cycling. It maybe well the problem?
