They pissed alot of people off with the C-130 lottery, including this platinum member! Hobbyking needs to learn to keep their projects quiet until sufficient stock is in all warehouses. ...or follow *******'s policy of giving an accurate, approximate release date with a pre-order option!

I am interested in your C-130 kit, but I need to contact you. Could you please send me a phone number, or address [one of your U.S. warehouses] is sufficient. Thank You, D.B.Couts 724-628-4981

Hi........question, what is the best radio and battery for the AVIOS C130?
    Thank You for your help

How much do you want to spend, and what radio do you have now?

  • Robert BartolucciRobert Bartolucci Club Members Posts: 6

Hi WTWUK, I don't have a radio now. So I want get one for the C-130, but also one that I can use on other planes in the future. I would say up too $275 for radio and up to $100 for battery and charger. I want a very good battery for the C-130. Thank you and I will wait for your reply back.

Easy. Get a FrSky Taranis X9D Plus or an X10 and be set for life.

Turnigy LiPos are pretty good, and the Accucell range of chargers have done me sterling service for years now.

Question has to be asked - have you flown RC aircraft before?

  • Robert BartolucciRobert Bartolucci Club Members Posts: 6

Hi WTWUK, thanks for the info. I never learn to fly, but I will hook up with a flying group once I move.
I know I will need to purchase a trainer plane first.
    1. So what will be the best training plane?
    2. Also, what Turnigy,s would be great for the C-130.....voltage wise?

5/30/2019...Still not back in stock, and it's on sale in the US? We need a backorder option on this, I'd lock in at the US sale price of 319.99! I'll admit she's gonna be my shelf queen for a while before I fly her, ankle surgery has me in a wheelchair temporarily...

    319.99 WRONG.
