Hello,
I have some questions about the Turnigy TGY-6114MD Digital Sail Winch Servo, can someone help me with these?
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigytm-tgy-6114md-digital-sail-winch-servo-drum-type.html
My questions are:
- Is this truly a digital (not analog) servo?
- Since it is a multi-turn servo, what is the minimum angular step resolution possible? IN other words, what is the angular precision I can get with this servo?
- What is the angular repeatability I can get with this servo? i.e. if I give it the same pulse command, how close will it come to the target position each time?
- Do you expect this servo to be on the market for a while? Hobby king seems to be the only source, but I would like to continue to buy it for the next couple of years.
Thank you,
Mohan

I would like to know how to 'programme' this servo. Does anyone know how please?
I have acquired two of these and they seem very slow when 'adjusted' by using the transmitter servo throw settings (down to 30% to get the number of turns I require).
It is not 'programmable' as in it could have its factory set characteristics modified.
Only way to modify its behaviour is whatever can be done by transmitter settinfs.
