I see the 9xr pro has been discontinued and is no longer available. For my type of flying, it's perfect. I have two. I was looking to buy a third. Is there any plans to replace it with a new and improved version.
No plans at the moment
Thanks for the interest
Instructional documentation on the latest version of ErSky9X firmware would have saved otherwise excellent product.
An old saying in software development is "If it's not written down it does not exist."
Ersky9x has many places where very comprehensive instructions can be found for the latest STABLE firmware.
In addition, the Er9X 'manual' is close enough.
I suspect the reason the 9XR and Pro are no more is due to the multitude of alternatives available now - mostly FrSky and Jumper offerings that are of superior mechanical quality.
In addition, all of them running open source firmwares are not the simplest to use - even with a decent manual - as there are so many options available in the programming. Often far and away more than non-technical modellers will ever need.
