Eeprom Files

Hi!
I was wondering what the eeprom files do that are uploaded to the product web pages?
I recently purchased 2 Efxtra planes from hobby king, and the manual was missing. So I went to the product page to download and noticed several eeprom Files that I am assuming customers uploaded??
Since whoever uploaded them didn't provide ANY descriptions for the files, I have no idea what flashing my eeprom with these files would do??????
I'm assuming is has something to do with the ESC since that is the only thing in the plane that even contains a eeprom.......
I'm confused obviously!! LOL!!
Please enlighten me😎
