ORX R920x V2 Receiver

maverickomavericko Club Members Posts: 14

The Descriptor for the ORX 9 channel receiver says " w/satellite" When I received the product there is NO satellite. So after reading through copious amounts of crud on the HK site it seems it should read " has satellite outlet" Very misleading HK. How about fixing it so no one else gets sucked in

    Hi mavericko,

"With satellite" on a receiver description means you can connect a separate satellite receiver for signal robustness. Commonly used in models with carbon fiber, or where you need a stable signal. However, it does not extend range. Here's an example of sat. rx: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/orangerx-r110x-dsmx-dsm2-compatible-satellite-receiver.html

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers.

He knows full well what it is... The problem is HK advertise the rx 'w/satellite' so it appears it is supplied with one!!!

The full description is "OrangeRx R920X V2 9Ch 2.4GHz DSM2/DSMX Compatibility Full Range Rx w/Sat, Div Ant, F/Safe & CPPM." So it's pretty clear that it includes all those features. Since F/Safe and CPPM aren't physical items it would seem to be clear those are all features of the RX and not necessarily physical items that are included. We'll look into this to see if it can be made clearer.
