How do you make a buddy box cable for a TGYi6? What pins are used and how are interconnected?

I know I can make one out of an Svideo cable but I'm not sure which pins to connect.

    Hi, Kurt

The TGY i6 uses 4-pin DIN. You can use this one: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-tgy-i6-trainer-cable-buddy-box-cable-2m.html

    Cheers.

Can you tell me which pins need to be interconnected between two TGYi6 transmitters on the trainer cable?

I know there is a cable listed at Hobby King but I didn't want to place a special order since I already had an S-video cable with 4-pin DIN. After some looking inside I think I answered my question. You have to cross the conductors inside cable (TX to RX and PPM out to PPM in). You have to do this both ways if you want to be able to interchange cable ends. The shield is the ground. The cable must have a shield.

Oh, by the way, the buddy box cable is only available through Hong Kong.

I use one of these. Wireless Buddy Box System 8CH (Dual RX Controller) it works with any two transmitters. and you don't have to stay close to each other.
