Magnet wires...

When I read specifications of an outrunner motor, what is the meaning of : Magnet wires temperature rating. Ex: 115oC or 215oF? Thanks.

The temperature class indicates the temperature of the wire at which it has a 20,000 hour service life.

When motors spin up they generate some heat due to friction and energy loss. That temp rating is simply how high the temp can get without failure. A motor properly set up should never get that hot so normal operating temps are far below that.
