Can one transmitter antenna work as control and telemetry antenna ?

hello. I watched disassembly video of FrSky Taranis Q X7 and it only have one antenna, also I watched turnigy tgy-i6 and it have two antenna. And all telemetry receivers have two antenna, so I am confused. Can one transmitter antenna work as control and telemetry antenna ?

    Hi Karolis!
    Short answer: yes, one transmitter antenna can work as control and telemetry antenna.
    Generally a transmitter or receiver with two antennas will use one of the antennas to transmit and receive and the other to receive only. The benefits of having 2 antennas is that when both antennas are receiving signals it will give the user diversity receiving, which means better range and signal coverage.
