No. Not legal as it does not comply with EU regulation EN 300 328 V1.9.1 for ISM band radio, as it is not of the 'Listen Before Talk' protocol.

    thanks for reply,

so presume would have to use the FrSky DJT 2.4Ghz Combo Pack for JR w/ Telemetry Module & V8FR-II RX, PRODUCT ID: JR-Combo instead.

    which is out of stock.

No. Also illegal now as once again thanks to our EU regulation making overzealous pillocks, that item does not comply either.

The only one that does is the FrSky XJT and the X series receivers, and even then only if they have EU firmware on them.

It is with the XJT. The RF link of the XJT is second to none.

Also, as the relevant law only applies to newly-supplied modules as of Jan 2015 ... sooooo ... in reality for the DJT, there is no real way for the authorities to know when it was bought is there - if you get my drift ... there are plenty of second-hand DJT and D series about. And I use them openly.

Bloody stupid full of loopholes law from Brussels yet again.

Edit: As an aside, also bear in mind that it is also a requirement that radio firmware is 'locked' for use in the EU so as to prevent use of non-compliant modules. Currently that is being circumvented with a 'checkbox' in the firmware updaters being left unticked ... ahem! Lol!WTWUK2016-07-10 05:32:36
