Aileron and Rudder reversed - turnigy 9y

mumbimumbi Cologne, GERClub Members Posts: 24
Hi there,

i am flying a tricopter with a kk2 mini and a turnigy 9x. I noticed today that my aileron and my rudder are on the wrong sticks. The aileron is on the left and the rudder is on the right stick (both horizontal). Is there a way how i can change this in the turnigy 9x?

i tried to change the cables but that didnt work.

Here are my receiver connections:

Thanks

       While I must admit knowing little of kk2 set ups,

       If it were a fixed wing set-up, swapping the ch.2 and ch.4

       leads on your receiver would swap rudder to aileron and

       vice versa.

       Is this what you tried by "swapping cables"?

       If not give it a try.

    Look at the KK Receiver Test screen and see what stick movement does what. Then change the connections on the KK to correct it.

    By the way, what Stick Mode are you using?

    Channel output on the 9X is AETR, so on your RX it should be:

    Ail= Chan1

    Ele= Chan2

    Thr= Chan3

    Rud= Chan4

    Aux1= Chan5WTWUK2016-05-21 07:08:03

    i use exactly this setup like you posted:

    Ail= Chan1

    Ele= Chan2

    Thr= Chan3

    Rud= Chan4

    Aux1= Chan5

    I use stick set mode 4 - maybe this is the problem. But i dont understand the pictures (Turnigy 9x Stick Set Menu) what the others stand for. How can i change the rudder and the aileron on the fx?

    The "home Screen" of my fx shows Mode 1.

    EDIT:

    found this awesome pic that helped me to find out that i am in the wrong mode:

    Mode 2 worked perfect for me.

    Thank you anyway for your helpmumbi2016-05-21 08:42:25

    The 'Mode 1' you see on your 9X home screen is a spelling mistake - it is supposed to say 'Model 1' - many users have been confused by that.

    Happy you found the solution.
