Hi,

I have bought an LX F-16 which has the following specs

Length : 1300mm               8CH RC

Weight : 1250g                 9x9g servos

Wingspan : 860mm               50A brushless ESC with 5A UBEC

EDF Diam : 70mm               2400KV brushless

Thrust >= 1300g               18.5 V 5S

I have a Dr Mad Thrust 70mm 11 blade EDF which I trust more than the stock one.

The specs for the Mad Thrust is

EDF Inner Diameter: 70mm

Outer Diameter: 72mm

Construction: Alloy

Weight: 190g

Max RPM: 62000

Motor Type: B2839 3900kv

Max Power: 1300W

Continuous Power: 1200W

Max Voltage: 14.8V (4S)

Max Amps: 79A

Max Thrust: 1.6kg

Can I fit this EDF to the F-16? looks like it has enough thrust ...

Regards

so long as it physically fits and you upgrade the ESC to about 100A to handle the power it should work

Yes. It will be fine for it - plenty of thrust - but as Daithi says you MUST upgrade your ESC to 100A to be safe. You will fry the standard one in seconds.
