building 1/32 twin screw tugboat. will be using SK3-6374-149kv motors. powered by 12v AGM auto battery. Need help finding quality ESC's.

    Search for "Marine" and you will find a lot of YEP and Turnigy options. I use the YEP aircraft range and note that there is a reverse on/off option on the YEP programming card for the YEP Marine range which you would probably need.

    Hi Sooty

    Checked the specs on these motors and I use the car ESC 100A (HK100A) with the programming card(HK Prog-Card).Very easy to setup, reverse, electric fan so slow speed cooling the ESC will be better.

    You can limit the reverse if required and limit the car braking so it plays no problem in run a boat.

    I use this ESC in all my boats with the same setup only changing because of different Lipo's (3,4S).

    The programming card runs the 45A,60SL and 100A(I have not used the 30A so it may work on that as well).
