one meter sailboat

Im building a one meter sailboat. I actually have two boats that i am setting up radios in..
Im buying the hobbyking 2.4ghz transmitter and two recievers

Will the transmitter work with both recievers?
Also what battery should I buy for the recievers. Im running a rudder servo and a sail winch servo.

Thanks, Bryan

Both receivers should bind to the TX as long as you select yacht 1to bind Rx1, then change the Tx to yacht 2 to bind the second Rx. (Dont try to bind them both at the same time). Most Tx units can bind to about 20 receiivers. We use either a 5 cell recharable pack LiHi about 2100mah or a 1100-1300mah 2s Lipo. Either will last a good days sail.

And the 2S LiPo could fry the servos and receivers! No all can withstand 8.4Volts

Make sure of the maximum voltage the receiver and servos can tolerate and get the relevant votage battery. If need be, also use a BEC to reduce voltage to correct level.
