FrSky x8r Receiver

Put brand new x8r receiver in one of my rc planes and had an unexpected hard landing. Receiver moved forward in plane but the antennae leads were well restrained. One of the flat tabs on the end of one of the antennae leads pulled off from the antennae wire. My question is can I simply solder the wire back onto the tab or should I be concerned about the integrity of the antennae? Thanks for any feed back. I would hate to discard the receiver after only 1 flight.

You can solder it back on if you are careful enough. The antenna wires are coax with central rf conductor and a braided shield that require solderinv to specific points and must not touch each other.
