    That is odd .. when i looked at the specs briefly the other day is showed max current as 24A .... looked now and it is 54A .... or I totally misread it!

    If the correct figure is 54A with 4S, a 60A ESC with 3S will not be enough! With that voltage, the Amp draw will be higher as the motor will do its damndest to rotate at 3400Kv at full throttle .... and two things could happen: fried ESC and/or fried motor.

    What are you thinking of using the motor/prop combo in?

    Have a look at the 'ecalc' program online and put in the details you have and see the results.
