Hello,
I'm testing various changes to models and I obviously have to stop to charge batteries frequently.
I'd like to know if there is a mains power supply that delivers what a Zippy 40C 11.1 V Lipo puts out so I can use this instead of the LIPO for testing.
thanks
Steve

All depends on the amperage draw. If it includes say running a motor and it draws 40amps, then highly unlikely.
If it is for powering only say a few servos and receiver, then something rated 12volts with 6A output would work connected to a BEC.
But, if you want something that can actually match the potential output of your Zippy, no way - as that battery can provide (for example) 2200mA x 40C = 88Amps.
I'd want something to power the motor, I'm running through a 70A SBEC, so I suppose I'm out of luck.
Yes insofar as model/home type power supplies really.
You would be needing something industrial kike a Fusion 2000w or the like.
Too much money, I'll stick to the battery.
Thanks for replying.
